AWS Partner Growth

The partnership needs a commercial plan behind the credentials.

AWS Partner Growth helps an Amazon Web Services (AWS) consulting partner decide how to grow the business it develops with AWS. I examine skills, offers, tier readiness and commercial results, then put the next moves into a plan with owners.

01

A tier is a route to growth, rather than the whole plan

Your team may be investing in certifications and partner activity while the pipeline remains hard to explain. The useful question is what that investment enables: a relevant offer, a stronger customer conversation or a repeatable way of working with the AWS field team.

I connect the partnership work to those commercial choices. The next tier and a target specialisation sit inside the growth plan, alongside offer design, joint selling and the investment needed to carry them out.

02

Who this is for

Lite fits an AWS consulting partner that wants a clear view of where the partnership stands and the first moves that would improve it. Full fits a leadership team ready to design a 12 month approach across sales, delivery, alliances and finance.

The work is independent JRDN advisory. My previous AWS role informs my perspective. It does not imply AWS endorsement, privileged influence or a guarantee of an AWS decision.

03

Lite: a two week partner diagnosis

₹2,40,000, excluding applicable goods and services tax (GST).

Lite includes up to four leadership interviews and a guided review of Partner Central, certifications, references and the AWS opportunity pipeline. The four dimensions are skills and specialisations, go to market and offers, tier readiness, and commercial results.

You receive a partner growth scorecard, gaps against the next tier and one target specialisation, a 90 day growth plan and a 60 minute leadership readout. Each priority has an owner and a date.

04

Full: a six week growth plan

₹8,50,000, excluding applicable GST.

Full includes up to eight interviews across leadership, sales, delivery, alliances and finance. It examines pipeline, win rates and deal sources and develops two repeatable offers with scope, price logic and relevant programme fit.

The nine outputs are a partner growth assessment, tier and specialisation roadmap, two offer designs, joint selling plan, funding and incentives map, Marketplace readiness note, 12 month growth plan, AWS business review pack and executive walkthrough.

The growth plan connects quarterly pipeline and revenue targets to the people and investment behind them. The funding map and tier roadmap reflect requirements checked during the engagement. Programme eligibility, benefits and conditions can change and must be verified against the current AWS material.

05

How the evidence is gathered

The alliance lead coordinates the records and guided screen shares. I review the evidence with sales and delivery as well as alliances, because a partner profile alone cannot explain what happens in a live customer opportunity.

We distinguish partner sourced business, work developed with AWS and activity that has not yet created a qualified opportunity. Definitions are agreed with your team so the plan does not rely on an inflated pipeline.

Lite needs your alliance lead for kickoff, interview and readout. Full needs a weekly working session. Delivery is remote; I do not hold your portal logins or submit changes on your behalf.

Questions partner leaders ask

Can you guarantee a tier, funding or validation?

No. AWS decides tiers, funding and validations. I help you understand the evidence and work required within the agreed scope.

Will you submit applications or sell for us?

No. Preparing and submitting applications, writing customer case studies, running campaigns and selling to customers on your behalf are outside the package. Your team retains responsibility for execution and submissions.

Does this include technical validation?

No technical validation audit or architecture review of customer work is included. This package focuses on the partner business and its growth plan.

What experience do you bring?

I have more than 28 years in enterprise technology leadership, including a Principal role at AWS and earlier leadership roles at Deloitte and KPMG. I lead every JRDN engagement personally. Read my background.
