CASE STUDY · CLIENT FEEDBACK · APPROACH

Clearer decisions.
Progress you can examine.

The work should leave you with more than a useful conversation. Here is a documented engagement, feedback already published on my website and examples of the challenges I work on.

01 / EVIDENCE AND CONTEXT

Case study: From AI activity to investment clarity

An anonymised technology enabled business engaged JRDN for independent AI readiness, spend visibility and value assessment.

02 / ENGAGEMENT DETAIL

What was getting in the way?

AI tools and initiatives existed across functions, but leaders lacked a reliable view of spending, readiness, ownership and measurable value. They needed to separate near term opportunities from initiatives requiring stronger foundations.

03 / ENGAGEMENT DETAIL

What did JRDN deliver?

  • Spend and tool visibility: reviewed the vendor inventory against available financial records and distinguished direct AI costs from broader platforms with embedded AI.

  • Readiness and controls: assessed strategy, data, processes, technology, people and governance, distinguishing written policies from evidence of adoption.

  • Use case value and fit: compared value, feasibility, dependencies and risk, including the controls needed for assisted workflows and autonomous actions.

  • A decision roadmap: documented sequenced priorities, accountable owners, measurement needs and investment gates.

04 / ENGAGEMENT DETAIL

What changed for decision makers?

Leaders received a clearer cost picture and a prioritised view of proceed, prepare or defer decisions. Dependencies and risk conditions became visible. The work identified the cost, volume, cycle time and quality measures needed to assess economics, with governance actions and phased next steps for management review.

05 / ENGAGEMENT DETAIL

What does this case establish?

This was an assessment and decision support engagement. Recommendations were delivered. Realised savings, implemented pilots and investment returns are not claimed.
