SMB Growth Advisory

More activity will not settle why growth has stalled.

Small and medium sized business (SMB) Growth Advisory helps an owner led business identify the commercial constraint that matters most and agree a practical response. I examine customers, offers, revenue and pipeline before recommending where to put time and money.

01

The leadership team may be solving different problems

Sales wants more leads. Marketing wants a sharper story. Delivery says the wrong work is coming in. The owner sees revenue flattening and has to decide where to invest.

Each explanation may contain part of the truth. I bring the available evidence together so you can see whether the constraint sits in positioning, the revenue model, go to market alignment, demand and pipeline, commercial execution, or expansion and retention.

The aim is a specific decision. A list of possible improvements is easy to produce and difficult to act on.

02

Start with the right depth

Lite: identify the strongest supported constraint

Three weeks. ₹2,40,000, excluding applicable goods and services tax (GST).

Lite includes conversations with you and up to three leaders, up to three customers or recent wins and lost deals, and a review of revenue by customer and offer, pipeline and prices. You receive a growth scorecard, a constraint note, a 90 day growth plan and a 60 minute readout.

The constraint note states what the available evidence supports and how confident we can be. It does not pretend a small set of interviews answers every commercial question. The plan names the first moves, their owners, dates and measures.

Full: turn the diagnosis into a growth approach

Six weeks. ₹6,60,000, excluding applicable GST.

Full covers one primary market, up to eight internal interviews, six customer and lost deal interviews and a half day positioning and offer workshop. Up to two priority offers receive an offer and pricing review.

The eight outputs are a growth assessment, customer insight summary, ideal customer and positioning, offer and pricing review, go to market and pipeline plan, 12 month growth plan, growth dashboard and leadership walkthrough. Channels, qualification, sales stages and the weekly rhythm become explicit parts of the plan.

03

What I need from the business

Revenue by customer, offer and channel helps distinguish volume from value. A pipeline export with stages and outcomes shows where opportunities stop. Your price list and discount history help test whether the commercial model matches the work being sold.

You introduce the customers and lost deals for interview. Their accounts are valuable because an internal explanation of why a deal was lost is still an internal explanation. If interviews cannot be arranged, substitute evidence is labelled as indirect.

04

A useful distinction: demand or conversion?

A business can have few enquiries because buyers do not recognise a relevant offer. It can also have plenty of enquiries that rarely become qualified opportunities. Those situations need different actions and different measures.

This is an illustrative comparison, not a claim about a JRDN client's results. In your engagement, the recommendation follows your records and customer evidence. Revenue targets are an agreed plan, not a guaranteed forecast.

05

What happens after the plan

The final walkthrough aligns the leadership team on the choices and owners. The dashboard distinguishes activity from commercial progress, including qualified pipeline and conversion rather than treating every enquiry as a success.

Your team carries out the plan. Running campaigns, advertising, events or outreach, creating marketing assets, configuring customer relationship management systems and selling on your behalf are outside this package. Any ongoing advisory support is agreed separately.

06

Questions before starting

Is this mainly marketing advice?

The scope is wider. It connects who buys and why to the offer, pricing, pipeline and commercial execution. The diagnosis may show a marketing issue, but it should earn that conclusion.

What if delivery is the constraint?

If growth is limited by founder dependence or operating bottlenecks, Founder Operations Advisory may be the better next step. We will settle the immediate question in discovery.

Can you promise a particular growth rate?

No. The work provides evidence, choices and an operating plan. Outcomes depend on market conditions, execution and the assumptions we test with you.
